SAGA is a non-profit organization meeting the needs of the people, communities, and
lands of Alaska. Originally founded to fill the void left when the Youth and Young Adult Conservation
Corps closed, SAGA has continued the tradition of serving its members by offering opportunities to serve communities
throughout Alaska.
SAGA has
four main programs: the
Eagle Valley Center, Connections Program (
AmeriCorps), Young Adults Building Affordable Housing (
YouthBuild), and our Serve Alaska Corps (
AmeriCorps), SAGA
aims to "help people make the connection between what they learn and how they live," through "improving the lives,
lands, and communities of Alaska."
Please feel free to explore our new web site and learn more about all the different programs here at SAGA. If you have
